  2. i'd love to get my hands on all these books! i have one japanese crochet book and even tho i don't understand it i just look at the photos and dream i could make some of the beautiful things......

They are such major inspiration, but I agree, a little Japanese would be helpful for sure. :) I am too scared to try a knitting pattern for instance cause there's no way I could figure it out with just a drawing. I need the line by line instructions. :) Crochet works better with just diagrams alone. Haha, I think we do buy them mostly to dream... :)
